In Congress, Charlie will:

• Push for stronger enforcement guidelines to protect American consumers from unfair business schemes and predatory lending practices.
• Pursue strategic energy policies that reward conservation and innovation, that will create new, high paying jobs in Florida, and help release our nation from dependence on foreign oil.
• Fight to improve education for our changing competitive world, give teachers the freedom to teach, and end unfunded federal mandates on local school systems.
• Push for immediate and sensible health care that will assure affordable coverage for every American while encouraging wellness and disease prevention.
• Fight for tax cuts for working families, and fiscal policies that build surpluses, not debt, for the benefit of future generations
• Support measures to bring our fighting men and women home from Iraq and foster diplomacy to improve our relationships around the world
• Always allow for an honest and open discussion of your demands and concerns, fight to end secret deals with lobbyists, the “rubber stamping” of failed policies and fear tactics that divide us and weaken our nation.
