Lake County Americans have a particular story of their own to celebrate on the 4th of July. Charlie understands that, and shared the day with them as well.
Charlie started the morning of Independence Day at the Mount Dora Fourth of July Parade, marching with his dedicated team of volunteers and staff. While walking through historic downtown Mount Dora, Charlie shook hands with some of the thousands of people in attendance, as well as many of his fellow parading people. Without a moment to rest, Charlie was off to the "Home of the Brave" Independence Day Parade and festival in Tavares. There, he spoke with members of the local Boy Scouts, the local SEIU, and some of America's bravest men and women, both veterans, and some who are still serving in our armed forces. After that parade, it was off to Eustis, where Eustis Mayor Evalyn Smith and Eustis Fire Chief Roy Tremain joined Charlie and his supporters in celebrating the 4th, and talking with the people of Eustis about the American Dream, and how to keep that dream alive.
